This intermediate pottery class is designed for participants who have completed a beginner course or have foundational knowledge of the pottery-making process, including centering clay, throwing basic cylinder and bowl forms, basic slab work, and glazing. The course consists of six weekly sessions, each lasting 2.5 hours. Classes will be customized to support each student’s individual learning goals and projects, while also covering structured topics such as handle-making techniques, fitting lids, and throwing larger forms. The $295 course fee includes access to the studio outside of class time, 50 pounds of clay, and the glazing and firing of pieces made with the included clay.
